These are photographs from three Buddhist temples. Now that I am looking at them I cant figure out where one stops and the other starts. The three temples are in the old walled city of Chiang Mai Wat Cheddi Luang, Wat Pra Singh and Wat Chet Yot. We saw two separate Monks mediating. It looked like they were each sealed in a glass cube. They were very pale with eyes half closed and with no visible sign of breathing. I couldnt find out for how long they mediated or if they meditated until they die. Some bad tourists were tapping on the glass cubes.
